The theatrical version "The Irregular at Magic High School: The Girl Who Calls the Stars" was released in Japan on June 17, 2017. The production company of the second season "The Visitor" was changed to 8bit, and the decision to animate it was announced in October 2019. The story of "Magic High School" is set in an imaginary history full of magic improved by advanced technology. The first season tells the story of brother and sister Tatsuya Shiba and Miyuki Shiba, who attend the National Magic University's First High School and try to live a peaceful daily life while keeping their relationship with the Yotsuba family a secret. Tatsuya Shiba is shunned for his incompetence, while Miyuki Shiba is highly recognized for her magical abilities... The second season of the anime "The Irregular at Magic High School Visitor Arc" will premiere in July 2020.
