IGN 9.1 points! The first episode of "Rick and Morty" Season 4 lived up to expectations

Today, the first episode of the highly anticipated fourth season of the hit drama "Rick and Morty" was officially aired. After a two-year hiatus, many fans are worried about whether the show can still maintain the series' absurd, humorous, advanced and profound style. According to the just-released IGN review, the performance of the fourth season is still very stable.

"Rick and Morty" Season 4 first episode IGN scored 9.1 - great!

"It was worth the wait. Rick and Morty Season 4 kicks off with the best first episode in series history."

IGN's overall review:

Not only is Rick and Morty in top form after a two-year hiatus, "Edge of ToMorty: Rick Die Rickpeat" is the series' best premiere yet. The Season 4 premiere manages to reflect the changing status quo while also telling a classic Rick and Morty adventure. A satisfying blend of the familiar and the new, with a focus on Morty himself, it's a warm and compelling start to the new season.
