Since the second season of Two Cities premiered on November 9, it has become the most popular show on Netflix, not just in the United States or Europe, but in more than 60 countries around the world.

According to data provided by the chart statistics website FixPatrol, "A Battle of Two Cities" ranked first on Netflix's popular list in 65 different countries, leading by a huge margin.

This is not surprising. The total production and promotion and marketing costs of the two seasons of this "League of Legends" adaptation animation series reached a staggering 250 million US dollars, making it the most expensive animated series in history.

The first season premiered to the same figure, and the nine episodes were believed to have cost more than $80 million to produce. The second season, also nine episodes, reportedly cost close to $100 million.

In addition to Netflix, the series was also released globally on Tencent Video and Bilibili on November 9. Currently, only the first three episodes are available, and three more episodes will be released every Saturday. Members are required to watch all the episodes. On Bilibili , the second season has attracted 712,000 followers and 25.1 million views.
