New stills of "Joker 2: Double Madness" show the Joker couple dancing

"Joker 2: Double Madness" released a new still. In the photo, Arthur Fleck (Joker) and Harley Quinn are standing behind the iron railings with their noses facing each other. This may be a sweet moment for a couple to meet in the sequel.

Director Todd Phillips shared three pictures on Instagram and wished everyone a "day full of love." The first picture shows Fleck in full Joker costume standing next to Quinn. The last picture shows a couple dancing on a rooftop. The picture is in black and white, with a stage-like background and a huge fake moon.

The black-and-white stills look like a possible musical sequence for Joker 2. However, the sequel is not a full-blown musical as initially rumored. Star Zazie Beetz (who plays Sophie Dumont) said: "I don't think it will be a musical in the way that people think it will be."

Joker 2 began filming in December 2022, when Phillips released a photo of Fleck shaving his beard. The director also released new stills from the sequel after filming was completed.

The film will premiere on October 4.
