Michael Jackson biopic "Michael" to be released this year

Recently, the first stills of the Michael Jackson biopic "Michael" were released, recreating the stage look of Michael singing "Man in the Mirror" during the 1992-1993 Dangerous World Tour. The film started shooting in the United States on January 22, starring Michael Jackson's nephew Jafar Jackson, who looks very similar to the original.

The Michael Jackson biopic will not just be a "praise song", but will present his complicated and controversial life. The film will tell the story of Michael Jackson's debut as a child star and his rise to global idol, but his childhood was not easy, and after becoming famous he was even more controversial due to sexual harassment allegations, and his sudden death caused a sensation.

"Michael" is produced by "Bohemian Rhapsody" producer Graham King and directed by Antoine Fuqua. It will be released in North America on April 18, 2025.
