2024 Spring Festival box office exceeds 6 billion: this movie suddenly announced its withdrawal

According to data from Lighthouse Professional Edition, as of 11:11 on February 15, the total box office (including pre-sales) for the 2024 Spring Festival (February 10-February 17) exceeded 6 billion.

Among them, "Hot" 2.078 billion, "Speeding Life 2" 1.812 billion, and "Boonie Bears: Reversal of Time" 1.05 billion ranked the top three in the box office during the period. "Article 20" ranked fourth with 883 million.

"Hot As Hell" and "Speeding Life 2" are undoubtedly the biggest winners of this year's Spring Festival. The combined box office of the two is 3.89 billion, accounting for 64.8% of the total box office of the Spring Festival.

Other films released during the same period performed generally well, with "Let's Rock the Sun Together" and "Mr. Red Carpet" only grossing 92.233 million and 75.67 million respectively.

Last night, the main producer of "Let's Rock the Sun Together" @Lianrui Pictures announced its withdrawal from the Spring Festival schedule. February 15th will be the last day for the film to be released during the Spring Festival.

The main producer stated that it had made a major mistake in choosing the release date, and apologized to the director, actors, and other staff on and off the stage, and also expressed gratitude to the audience.

It is reported that the film will be postponed to March 30.
