"The Last of Us" live-action drama set aerial video restores the game prologue

Today, Twitter user The Last of Us HBO - Status posted an aerial video of the set of The Last of Us live-action drama, with the caption "Need I remind you what's out there? — Joel". Judging from the video content, the dim sky and blocked streets are likely a reproduction of the prologue of the first part of the game.

The Last of Us is the first TV series from PlayStation Productions and is based on the game of the same name from Sony. Chernobyl creator Craig Mazin and Naughty Dog co-president Neil Druckmann will co-write and produce the series. Filming began in July 2021 and is expected to end in mid-2022.

The show mainly tells the story of the protagonist Joel who must safely transport Ellie across the zombie-infested United States. Joel will be played by Pedro Pascal, Ellie will be played by Bella Ramsey, Nicole Parker and Gabriel Luna will also participate. The plot of the show will mainly interpret the general content of the first part of "The Last of Us", and may also involve the content of the second part of the game. The live-action series is expected to have a total of 10 episodes and will be broadcast in 2023.
