"GTO Resurrection" will be broadcast on April 1st, starring Takashi Sorimachi

The school drama "GTO" starring Takashi Sorimachi has been revived after 26 years. Fuji TV announced that the special TV series "GTO Resurrection" will be broadcast on April 1, 2024! Onizuka Eikichi will continue to be played by Takashi Sorimachi, with Okazaki Sae, Kote Shinya, Yagi Rikako, Hata Meiyu, Hinata Wataru, and Suzuki Kousuke participating in the cast.

Regarding playing the role of Eikichi Onizuka again, Takashi Sorimachi revealed that he had been invited to return to "GTO" many times, but he felt that it would be meaningful to restart the series at this time.

After 26 years, Sorimachi Takashi played Eikichi Onizuka again. He is now a father of two children.
