"Borderlands" live-action movie received 6 Golden Raspberry nominations, including Worst Picture

The annual Golden Raspberry Awards has announced the nominations for the worst films of 2024. Among them, "Joker 2" topped the list with seven nominations. Sony's superhero bad movie "Spider-Ms." and director Francis Ford Coppola's "masterpiece" "Metropolis" also received 6 nominations each.

Also receiving six nominations was the bad video game adaptation Borderlands, with the robot Crank receiving special attention, with actor Jack Black's performance alone receiving two nominations. The film was a disaster among audiences and critics, and the box office revenue failed to recover its $115 million budget, nor even its marketing costs.

"Borderlands" received nominations including: Worst Movie, Worst Director (Eli Roth), Worst Actress (Cate Blanchett, who played Lilith), Worst Supporting Actor twice (Kevin Hart and Jack Black), and the sixth nomination was a special award called "Screen Combination", which was given to a film "with two annoying characters (especially Jack Black) at the same time". It seems that the little quarrel it played was really annoying.

Jack Black was also nominated for Worst Actor for his role in the movie Dear Santa. He received 3 nominations in the same Razzie Awards and 2 nominations for the same role in the same movie.

Although Jack Black is well-liked and is loved for his role as Cool in the "Super Mario Bros." animated film, he can't stand the fact that he takes on any role. He also played the protagonist Steve in the "Minecraft" movie, and this role was also ridiculed and criticized.
