The highly anticipated second season of the American TV series "The Cut" has officially started. At the beginning of the first episode, the protagonist Mark ran through the corridor of the company. According to the crew, this clip was inspired by Tom Cruise, a famous Hollywood "running expert", and it took 5 months to prepare and produce. Adam Scott, the actor who plays Mark, revealed during the official podcast that although this clip looks like a one-shot, it was actually shot in 10 different parts: "We shot these 10 different clips over a period of 5 months." Ben Stiller, director of the first episode, said: "Each part had different requirements for the set treatment, so there was a sequence where we had to use green screen completely, put you (Scott) on a treadmill and use a motion control camera; there was a sequence where we had to break through a wall using a bolt arm machine - a motion control robot arm with a camera attached." However, Scott did not do much preparation: "Of course, I should have trained. But you know what? Going to shoot is a training process. By running non-stop, my condition is getting better and better." Stiller added that he should refer to Tom Cruise's running techniques, and Scott responded: "I actually only do this. Anyone who wants to train for any type of running, just look at Tom Cruise." Season 2 of The Cut is now available on Apple TV+, with new episodes being released weekly. |
