Chinese and foreign science fiction: Mars hits the Earth Cameron comes to China today to talk with Liu Cixin

Alita: Battle Angel is about to be released. As another sci-fi blockbuster after The Wandering Earth, it must have attracted the expectations of many fans. Today, the official revealed that James Cameron, the famous director who came to China to promote Alita: Battle Angel, which he supervised, will interact with Liu Cixin, the author of The Wandering Earth, and launch the "Cameron's Science Fiction Story: Dialogue with Liu Cixin" event, which can be regarded as the first Mars-Earth-level dialogue between Chinese and foreign hard science fiction circles.

The Wandering Earth, adapted from Liu Cixin's original novel, is still in theaters, with a box office of over 3.8 billion yuan as of today, making it the second-highest-grossing Chinese film in history. It has also received high praise abroad, with Cameron praising it.

"Alita: Battle Angel" is produced by Cameron, who directed films such as "Avatar". It has currently become the box office champion in 41 countries and regions abroad, with a cumulative box office of 94.3 million US dollars. The film will be released in domestic theaters on February 22. Mr. Cameron's visit to China is also to create some popularity on the eve of its release.
