"Godzilla-1.0" will be released in Japan in black and white. Hideo Kojima forwarded the poster to express his anticipation

The movie "Godzilla 1.0", directed and written by Takashi Yamazaki and starring Ryunosuke Kamiki and Minami Hamabe, will be released in Japan in November 2023 as this year's work to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the birth of the classic screen monster image of Godzilla.

The story is set in post-World War II Japan, when Godzilla appears, as if to deal another blow to Japan, which has already lost everything, and bring the country to a negative value (minus 1.0). This is also the origin of the title "Godzilla-1.0".

After recently making a comeback in North American theaters (ranked seventh among foreign language films), the production team released a black-and-white version of "Godzilla-1.0/C", which means without color. It is expected to be released in 340 theaters in Japan starting January 12 next year.

After the announcement of this news, the well-known game producer Hideo Kojima also retweeted the poster of "Godzilla-1.0/C". It seems that Kojima is about to start a new round of star-chasing plan.
