Stills from "The Countess of Du Barry" released, Depp's Louis XV image revealed

Today (August 11), Johnny Depp released the first stills of his new film "Madame du Barry", in which he plays the French King Louis XV. The film is directed by Maïwenn (whose representative work is "My King"), and she also plays the title character, Madame du Barry. Produced by Why Not Productions, the filming started on July 26 and will be filmed for 11 weeks. It will be filmed at many landmarks in Paris, mainly the Palace of Versailles.

Louis XV, the Bourbon king nicknamed "The Beloved", who was a womanizer and ascended the throne at the age of five, ruled for 59 years and was one of the longest-reigning kings of France. However, he was controversial and died in an ignominious manner, being accused of corruption and indulgence in alcohol and sex.
