"The Day the World Ends with You" confirmed to be produced as a Japanese version of the zombie apocalypse movie

The popular Japanese zombie sci-fi series "The Day the World Ends with You" officially announced that it will be made into a movie, and the latest trailer was released, so stay tuned.

"The Day the World Ends with You" is a TV series co-produced by Nippon Television and Hulu, directed by Shintaro Sugawara, Tsuyoshi Nakagami, and Mitsuru Kubota, written by Natsuko Ikeda, and starring Ryoma Takeuchi. It premiered in January 2021. The series has been updated to the third season and the fourth season is also in production.

The story takes place the day before the proposal. A young man named Hibiki Mamiya was trapped in a tunnel slide accident. After escaping from the tunnel, the world has changed dramatically. There are deserted streets, a large number of corpses, and "living dead" wandering on the streets. In this abnormal situation, Hibiki, who is left alone, desperately searches for his lover Raimi, but can't find him. Soon, Hibiki finds that this street has been blocked as a warning area, but there are also some survivors among them. Are they partners living together in this desperate situation?
