The ratings of the live-action drama "The Last of Us" continue to rise in the fourth episode

Faced with stiff competition from many Sunday night dramas, The Last of Us continues to see ratings climb each week. HBO recently announced in an announcement that 7.5 million viewers tuned in to the series across HBO and HBO Max this weekend.

Episode 4 of The Last of Us featured a battle between Joel and Ellie and a bandit, but after Episode 3 in the US stole viewers with the AFC Championship Game, Episode 4 had to compete with the 65th Grammy Awards. Despite this, Episode 4 saw a 17% increase in viewers over Episode 3, which had 6.4 million viewers.

But HBO still knows it can't compete with the Super Bowl: the network has announced that it will air the fifth episode early on Friday.
