Affected by costs and strikes, the well-known animation company DreamWorks is laying off employees

According to foreign media Deadline, the well-known animation studio DreamWorks is currently laying off 4% of its total employees. The layoffs are caused by sluggish business, rising production costs and strikes.

In a statement to Deadline, DreamWorks said it was eliminating approximately 70 positions as part of overall cost-cutting, with the impacted roles spanning corporate functions, features, television and technology.

In addition, DreamWorks also hopes to turn the situation around by releasing "Trolls 3", which will be released overseas on November 17.
