Charlie Hunnam Turns Down Role of 'Green Arrow' in DC Movie

Charlie Hunnam, who starred in the mecha sci-fi film "Pacific Rim" and participated in Zack Snyder's sci-fi film "Moon Rebels", was recently interviewed by "Comicbook.com" and was asked about his views on playing the role of "Green Arrow" in DC movies.

Charlie Hunnam immediately stated that he had never talked to Zack Snyder about the role, but he did talk to "some guys in suits" about the idea and they were excited about it.

However, Charlie Hunnam's reaction was very calm. He said: "I don't know who the Green Arrow is. I don't want to offend anyone. I just saw a picture and had this thought; 'I'm not sure if green is my color, but I'm sure spandex (referring to the costume) is not my material.'"

Although many fans of "Arrow" believe that Charlie Hunnam would be one of the best candidates for the role in the movie version, the actor himself has now rejected the opportunity to play Green Arrow, which must still make many fans sad.
