Streaming platform Netflix recently confirmed that it will remove a number of movies and TV series from the platform before 2024, including several original projects. According to Netflix, comedy film Tammy's Journey, animated film Sing 2, drama film The Others, and mystery film Ava will all be removed from the platform by the end of the year. On December 31, many classic blockbusters will leave the platform, including Us, Catch Me If You Can, Ghostbusters, Jaws, Gladiator, Scarface, The Wolf of Wall Street, Saving Private Ryan, and several Mission: Impossible movies. This is common for streaming platforms, as the licenses required for these films may expire. However, several Netflix originals will also leave the platform. These include the first season of the Korean drama "Hymn of Death", which was originally scheduled to air on December 6; other series include Season 2 of "Dessert Supreme", Season 1 of "Falling in Love Again" and "The Adventures of Puss in Boots" Seasons 1 to 6. Original movies include "Sandstorm" and singer Taylor Swift: "Reputation Tour". The above are only the film and television works that will be deleted by the platform in the United States. The works removed from the shelves will also vary depending on the region. |
