The Marvel movie "Captain America 4" is under development, with the script being co-written by "Falcon and the Winter Soldier" producer Malcolm Spellman and screenwriter Dalan Musson. The Hollywood Reporter said that the creators of "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier" will be responsible for developing the fourth "Captain America" movie. The director, cast and other details of the film have not been announced yet. The past two Captain America films were directed by the Russo brothers, who later directed Avengers 3 and Avengers 4. While plot details have yet to be revealed, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier ends with Anthony Mackie 's Sam Wilson becoming the new Captain America in the MCU, though of course there are still some loose ends, like John Walker's U.S. Agent and Sharon Carter's true identity being revealed. |
