■ Main Characters

Hayate Ayasaki is a butler for Lady Sanzenin Nagi. There is only a little summer vacation left... Worried about Nagi, who is too distracted by playing games and reading doujinshi, Hayate casually suggests that he go to the countryside, but... His misfortune remains the same (his debts haven't decreased much), but in this movie version, he is even more of a sharp and dignified super butler!

The only daughter of the vastly wealthy Sanzenin family. With the summer comic market over, Nagi spends her days searching for doujinshi in Akihabara during the day and diving into the dark world of cyberspace at night... She seems to be living a somewhat depressing life, but when Nishizawa and Hayate recommend she go to the countryside, she is tempted. However, life in the countryside with no games or internet seems to be boring...

Maria is a maid who serves Nagi. She is 17 years old and has a charming smile. To Nagi, she is like an older sister and a mother. She is a talented girl who skipped grades, but her slightly airheaded side is charming. She is kind and caring towards everyone, making her an indispensable super maid to the Sanzenin family.

Hinagi Katsura is the student council president of Hakuo Academy, where Kunagi attends. She is intelligent and beautiful, and everyone recognizes her for her reliability, but she actually has a younger sister type of personality. She is aware of her feelings for Hayate, but the insensitive Hayate often makes her jealous. Apparently there will be some fan service scenes and some big fight scenes in this movie.

Ayumu Nishizawa A classmate of Hayate's in his previous high school. He confesses his feelings to Hayate but is evaded. In this work, he talks to Nagi about the wonderfulness of the countryside and invites him to his own countryside. He is an ordinary high school student who has a strange sense of persuasion and distance towards Nagi.

Sakuya Aizawa is the eldest daughter of the Aizawa family, who are relatives of the Sanzenin family, and Nagi's cousin. She loves comedy and is always looking for the other person to make jokes or tsukkomi during normal conversations.

Saginomiya The only daughter of Saginomiya, who has close ties with the Izumi Sanzenin family. She is extremely bad at directions and always seems to be in a panic, but she is actually a shrine maiden who exorcises evil spirits.

Segawa Izumi A member of the student council at Hakuo Academy. She is an extremely rich girl, but she is bright, energetic and honest. She calls Hayate "Hayata-kun."

Miki Hanabishi is a member of the student council at Hakuou Academy and the leader of the three girls. She loves Hinagiku but also loves to cause her trouble, making her a somewhat complicated girl.

Risa Asakaze is a student council member at Hakuou Academy. Although she may have dark thoughts behind the scenes, she is not a bad kid (I think). By the way, all three of them have poor grades.

Harukaze: Secretary of the Student Council at Chio Hakuou Academy. Together with Hayate, he lazes around Nagi's lazy lifestyle during the second half of summer vacation. He has a cool demeanor, but he's actually an otaku with a wide range of interests. His hobbies are sometimes similar to Nagi's, and sometimes not.

・Kenno Kayura is a fellow fan of Nagi. She is shy and has a low level of enthusiasm. Her lifestyle and thought patterns are surprisingly similar to Nagi's.

・Suirenji Ruka is a rare super idol. Her encounter with Hayate was truly striking! She is the most intriguing character in the upcoming "Hayate the Combat Butler!" She will be singing the opening theme "Bokura, Kakeyuku Sora e" in the upcoming movie!

・Watari Tachibana
He is the heir to the Tachibana financial conglomerate, runs a video rental store, and is engaged to Nagi at just 13 years old. The two have no intention of getting married, and Izumi himself is in love with Izumi.

Saki Takashima A maid who serves Wataru. From the outside, she looks capable, but in reality, she is quite clumsy. She watches over Wataru's growth as if he were an older sister.

Katsura Yukiji is a world history teacher at Hakuo Academy. Hinagiku's older sister. She is lazy, which is hard to imagine coming from her reliable sister, and she loves alcohol. She is always short on money because most of her salary disappears into alcohol.

Suzune: A mysterious girl appears in front of Hayate while he is in the countryside during summer vacation. After telling him something, she suddenly disappears...

■Review

The film "Hayate the Combat Butler! Heaven Is a Place on Earth" brings out the best of the original manga while also introducing a new story and character development. The film focuses on the events that take place in the countryside during summer vacation, and how Hayate and Nagi spend their time in an environment without games or anime. This setting is a good opportunity for the audience to see how the characters behave in a place far from their usual daily lives.

Particularly impressive is Hayate's growth as a butler. While the original work also depicted his tendency to be unlucky and his debt problems, this film emphasizes how he overcomes these and supports Nagi. Shiraishi Ryoko's performance as a voice actress is also excellent, making Hayate's growth feel real. Nagi's character also develops, and Kugimiya Rie's expressiveness as a voice actress shines. Her performance skillfully conveys Nagi's dissatisfaction with his boring rural life and his trust in Hayate.

As for the story, it was written by the original author, Kenjiro Hata, so fans of the original work will enjoy a fresh development. Life in the countryside, where there are no games or anime, brings out new sides to the characters, and the deepening relationship between Hayate and Nagi is particularly beautifully portrayed. The appearance of a new character, Suzune, also breathes new life into the story. Her mysterious presence plays an important role in the latter half of the story.

In terms of visuals, Mangrove's animation work is highly praised. The rural scenery, the characters' expressions, and their movements are all carefully drawn in detail, making for visual beauty. In particular, the scenes set against the backdrop of summer scenery give the audience a refreshing feeling. Additionally, the character designs by Komori Hideto have firmly retained the atmosphere of the original work while adding a new charm.

In terms of music, the opening theme "Bokura, Kakeyuku Sora e" by Suirenji Ruka is a powerful song that symbolizes the theme of the story. In addition, the insert song "Invisible Message" by ELISA and the ending theme "Heaven is a Place on Earth" by flipSide are also important elements that liven up the atmosphere of the story. These songs not only enhance the emotions of the audience, but also add depth to the progression of the story.

■Recommendation

For fans of "Hayate the Combat Butler!", the movie "Hayate the Combat Butler! Heaven Is a Place on Earth" is a must-see. This movie brings out the charm of the original work to the fullest while depicting a new story and character growth, and will surely provide fans with new discoveries and excitement. Also, even for those who are not familiar with the original work, you can enjoy the charm of the characters and the interesting story, so we definitely recommend that you watch it at least once.

In particular, I would like you to pay attention to the relationship between Hayate and Nagi, and the character growth depicted through life in the countryside. Also, do not miss the presence of a new character, Suzune. Her mysterious behavior and her relationship with Hayate will play an important role in the latter half of the story.

Furthermore, the film is also visually and musically excellent, allowing viewers to enjoy the visual beauty and powerful music. The scenes with summer scenery as the backdrop and the animation with meticulous attention to detail in the character designs will leave viewers feeling refreshed. The opening theme by Suirenji Ruka and the music by ELISA and flipSide are also important elements that add to the atmosphere of the story.

Overall, Hayate the Combat Butler: Heaven Is a Place on Earth is a must-watch for fans of the original work, as well as anyone who enjoys anime and comedy. Enjoy the character development, new story developments, beautiful visuals and music, and feel the freshness of summer.
