Henry Cavill's new 'Highlander' to be directed by 'John Wick' director

Highlander is a classic fantasy film series that was originally released in 1986. The new reboot of the series was first announced in 2021 and will be starred by the famous actor Henry Cavill. However, since then, the project has been shelved.

The film production has finally made new progress. According to DEADLINE, the film will be directed by Chad Stahelski, the director of "John Wick", and will be introduced to the American market by Lionsgate.

The original 1986 Highlander film starred Christopher Lambert, Sean Connery and Clancy Brown as three immortal warriors who have fought each other throughout history. The series includes five films and three TV series.
