Mission: Impossible 7 will eventually make a profit, insurance company pays $71 million

According to foreign media reports, Paramount revealed that they recently received $71 million in compensation from the insurance company due to the suspension of filming due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. In 2020, the insurance company was only willing to pay $5.5 million, and the two sides had a legal dispute. The disagreement was resolved in the summer of 2022, and Paramount successfully received the compensation.

It is reported that the film cost as much as 290 million U.S. dollars to produce, and the global box office was 563 million U.S. dollars. Taking into account this compensation, tax refunds from filming in the UK, and income from digital versions and physical Blu-rays, the film will eventually make a profit.

"Mission: Impossible 7" will be released in digital version on October 10 and in physical Blu-ray on October 31. Friends who missed the theater screening can pay attention to it.
