20th Century Fox officially announced on Weibo that the sci-fi blockbuster "Alita: Battle Angel" has been scheduled for release in China, and the film will be released in mainland China on February 22.

Today, 20th Century Fox officially released a new Chinese poster for "Alita: Battle Angel". In the future world, Alita is wearing a battle suit and holding a sharp blade, ready to fight. Other characters such as Alita's first love Hugo, mentor and adoptive father Dr. Ido, villains Zapan, Victor, and Nicea also appear.

"Alita: Battle Angel" is adapted from the manga "Battle Angel" by Japanese manga artist Yukito Kishiro. In the 26th century, a cyborg girl's body is picked up by Doctor Ido and reborn. Doctor Ido named her Alita. Alita, who lost her memory, accidentally discovered that she had super combat ability. She grew up rapidly in the continuous battles and embarked on an epic adventure to explore the mystery of her life.

"Alita: Battle Angel" will be released in North America on February 14 and in China on February 22.
