Adaptation is not nonsense. The son of the author of the animation "Snow White" criticized the live-action version

Recently, David Hale Hand, the son of David Dodd Hand, the director of the classic animated films "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" and "Bambi", made fierce criticisms of Disney and the live-action version of "Snow White" in an interview with the Daily Telegraph.

David Hale Hand, 91, expressed anger at Disney's re-imagining of Snow White in the live-action film that is scheduled to be released next year. Actors and creators of the live-action film previously hinted in an interview that the plot of the new version of Snow White is not a love story, and also said that the dwarfs in this version will be replaced by "magical creatures."

David Hale Hand accuses the current Disney executives of disrespecting their company's classics and original animated films: "I shudder to think what they're going to do with the old movies... Now they're coming up with completely radical ideas. They're changing the plots, they're changing the way the characters think, so that these stories become completely different. They've come up with something new and progressive for them, and I don't like it at all. To be honest, I find what they're doing with some of the classics offensive. It's disrespectful to Walt Disney and to the work of my father... I think both he and Walt Disney would be turning over in their graves. […] Just come up with new characters to do something different, but don't try to destroy the beautiful work that has become a classic."
