"A Dream of Red Mansions: A Perfect Match" releases first trailer and will be released this year

Sina Films reported today (August 18) that the film Dream of Red Mansions: A Perfect Match, directed by Hu Mei, released its first trailer and officially announced the first wave of cast members. In the trailer, Jia Baoyu played by Bian Cheng, Lin Daiyu played by Zhang Miaoyi, Xue Baochai played by Huang Jiarong, Jia Mu played by Lu Yan, Wang Xifeng played by Lin Peng, and Jia Yuanchun played by Guan Xiaotong all appeared.

Eight famous scenes from the original novel, including the Land of Illusion, the Ning Mansion Family Banquet, Yuanchun's Visit to Her Parents, Baoyu and Daiyu Reading, Baochai Catching Butterflies, Daiyu Burying Flowers, Daiyu Burning Manuscripts, and Jin and Yu's Wedding, all appear briefly in the trailer.
