Actor Danny DeVito, who played the Penguin in Tim Burton's 1992 film Batman Returns, said he would be happy to return to the Batman franchise if given the chance. In an interview with the media, DeVito said he would "definitely consider" joining the DC Universe again. He said he loved playing Oswald Cobblepot in Batman Returns, a character he felt had multiple layers and inner "stirrings" that made the villain fun to play. “It was an emotional experience for me because I felt like it was a once in a lifetime opportunity to play Oswald Cobblepot with Tim’s vision and design,” DeVito said. Batman Returns stars Michael Keaton as Batman and Michelle Pfeiffer as Catwoman. The film received Oscar nominations for Best Makeup and Best Visual Effects. |
