Sony Pictures released a release date trailer for Gran Turismo: The Drive, announcing that the film will be released in China on August 11, the same time as North America. Gran Turismo: The Drive is adapted from a true inspirational story, directed by Neill Blomkamp, the director of District 9, and co-starred by Orlando Bloom (Lord of the Rings series), David Harbour (American TV series Stranger Things series), and rising star Archie Madej. Zhan En, a young gamer from an ordinary family, pursued his dream of becoming a professional racing driver. He was the first to break the "rich only" rules of the game and rewrote history to become a racing legend. Release date preview: Finalized poster:
