The animation "Stocking with Garterbelt" produced by GAIMAX in 2010 and directed by Hiroyuki Imaishi is an absurd alternative animation about angel sisters destroying demons. In July last year, Trigger announced that it had officially acquired the copyright of "Stocking with Garterbelt" from GAIMAX and would produce a new animation called "New Stocking with Garterbelt".

Recently, the official finally released the first complete trailer and announced that the new animation "New PANTY & STOCKING with GARTERBELT" will be officially broadcast in 2025.
