Art director of The Flash: Everyone will forget Miller's troubles after the movie is released

"The Flash" will be released in mainland China on June 16th, simultaneously with North America. Recently, the film's art director Paul D. Ostbury said in an interview with foreign media that he is not worried that Ezra Miller's scandal will interfere with the movie. He said people will forget about it because the movie is good enough.

Ostbury noted that Miller did a great job playing two very different characters in the film, which also required the crew to shoot the production in "two different parts."

Since the beginning of 2020, Ezra Miller, the actor of "The Flash", has been in trouble. First, he choked a woman's neck outside a bar in Iceland, and the other party did not press charges. In 2022, Miller was arrested twice in Hawaii for disorderly conduct and harassment. He paid a $500 fine and $30 in court fees, and the harassment charge was dismissed.

In August 2022, Miller was charged with felony theft by the state of Vermont, USA. Police found that Miller had stolen several bottles of wine from someone's house. Miller later apologized for his behavior in a statement to Variety magazine, writing: "Having recently gone through a serious crisis, I understand that I suffer from complex mental health issues and have begun ongoing treatment. I apologize to everyone who has been shocked and upset by my past actions."

On January 12, 2023, Miller pleaded guilty to criminal trespassing in the Vermont case, and the burglary charge was dropped.

DC Films CEO Peter Safran recently said: "Ezra is recovering and we fully support his treatment. In our conversations with him over the past few months, we feel that he has made great progress."
