The film revolves around the heroine, Ryuo Komada, who takes over her family's Japanese whiskey production factory, the Komada Distillery, after her father's death. While gradually rebuilding the financially troubled distillery, she also wants to once again produce the phantom whiskey known as the "family bond" that was unable to be produced due to a disaster.

The female lead will be voiced by Saori Hayami, while Kensho Ono will play Takahashi Kotaro, a reporter for a news website. Maaya Uchida will play Kawabata Tomohisa, and Yoshimasa Hosoya will play Yasumoto.

Masayuki Yoshihara, one of the directors of the TV animation "Ghost in the Shell SAC", will direct this film. Yukito Kizawa and Soe Nakamoto, who have participated in the screenwriting of the "Monogatari" series and the "Sword Art Online" series, will be responsible for the script. The original character design is Tomomi Takada, a veteran of PA Works. The well-known composer Kato Tatsuya will compose the music for this film.
