Avatar 2's profit exceeds $500 million, becoming the most profitable Hollywood film in 2022

According to Deadline, "Avatar 2: The Way of Water" earned $531.7 million in revenue for Disney, with a profit margin of 1.49, making it the most profitable Hollywood film in 2022!

In terms of box office, Avatar 2 grossed $683 million in North America, $1.3877 billion overseas, $246 million in mainland China, and $2.3167 billion worldwide. Global revenue sharing reached $1.2687 billion, $150 million in global home video revenue, $200 million in global TV network and streaming revenue, and a total revenue of $16.187 billion.

In terms of expenses, the production cost of "Avatar 2" is $400 million, and another $175 million is spent on advertising and promotion. The equity participation is as high as $300 million, and the total expenditure is as high as $1.087 billion.
