Lucasfilm announces three Star Wars movies at once, with Daisy Ridley returning to play Rey

At the just-concluded Star Wars Celebration, Disney's Lucasfilm announced three Star Wars movies at once. Among them, the movie directed by "Wonder Girl" director Shamin Obaid-Chinoy takes place 15 years after "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker" and tells the story of "rebuilding a new Jedi Order". Daisy Ridley returns to play Rey.

In addition, James Mangold, director of "Logan" and "Indiana Jones and the Last Airbender", is making a movie about "the first Jedi to use the Force."

The Mandalorian writer/producer Dave Filoni is developing a film about the "escalating war between the Remnant of the Empire and the New Republic."
