First details of Mission: Impossible sequel: Superman and Minister to return

The Minister played by Alec Baldwin and the villain John Walker played by Henry Cavill in "Mission: Impossible 6" may return in the two sequels "Mission: Impossible 7" and "Mission: Impossible 8".

According to The Hollywood Reporter, director McQuarrie is considering including Superman's treacherous character John Walker and Baldwin's IMF boss Alan Hunley in the sequel via flashbacks, after all, both characters died in Mission: Impossible 6.

According to previous reports, "Mission: Impossible 7" and "Mission: Impossible 8" will continue to be directed by McQuarrie, the director of "Mission: Impossible 5/6", and will be shot back-to-back, scheduled to be released in the summer of 2021 and 2022.
