The first episode of the latest live-action TV series adapted from the classic work "Video Girl" by the famous Japanese manga artist Katsura Masakazu was broadcast in January last year and was well received. Today, the official announced that the second episode will be called "VIDEO GIRL MAI 2019" and is scheduled to be broadcast from April. As the title "MAI" suggests, the heroine Kamio MAI this time will be played by Yamashita Mizuki, who is also from Nogizaka46.

"VIDEO GIRL MAI 2019" tells the story of an ordinary high school sophomore student Kento Yeno who meets a magical girl Kamio MAI one day and falls in love with this girl who can be called a "witch". His life is no longer dull from then on.

"Movie Girls" is a love comedy boy manga drawn by Japanese cartoonist Katsura Masakazu (Katsura Masakazu). It has science fiction elements and tells how girls who come out of the TV solve the love troubles of the male protagonists. The story was later adapted into animation and other media forms.
