"Snow White" actress accused of discriminating against Chinese audiences, condemned by Chinese netizens

Recently, "Shazam! Wrath of the Titans" was released, and Rachel Zegler, who played Anthea, the daughter of the Greek god Atlas, also followed the crew to promote the film. However, recently a fan accused Zegler of treating him badly online.

According to a Chinese blogger "Sun Laonian Jiadao" who attended the Los Angeles premiere of "Shazam! Wrath of the Titans", he wanted to take a photo with Zegler at the premiere, but Zegler looked at him with disgust and said, "Sorry, I'm taking a break." He also seemed to not want his dress to be touched by him, which made the blogger dumbfounded. He questioned whether Zegler's move was to dislike him for being vulgar and dirty.

The blogger went on to recall that after Zeigler walked away, he picked up his phone and wanted to take a short video to upload to TikTok. As soon as Zeigler noticed, he whispered a few words to his assistant, and then the assistant came over to stop him from recording. The blogger retorted that he had the right to take photos in public, but the assistant still did not allow it: "If you continue to take photos, I will ask security to come over." The blogger then resigned himself to not taking photos, but he later noticed that Zeigler took photos with well-known media men and women, which made him feel uncomfortable. He believed that he was clearly discriminated against.

The channel owner's accusatory video attracted nearly three million views. Many Chinese netizens went to Zegler's Instagram comment section to criticize her, accusing her of discriminating against Asians. "If you don't catch up with American political correctness, you will never get a leading role in your life. Do you really think you are a nobody?" "Apologize to sexual minorities, apologize to the Chinese, and apologize to Asians!"

Rachel Zegler did not directly deny the accusation. She responded on social media, saying "respect women today", "fuck off", "they don't build the statues of critics". This response also made many people dissatisfied, thinking that her attitude was very arrogant and rude, and they called for condemnation and boycott of discriminatory behavior.
