"The Last of Us" series creator: Stop sending me mushroom pictures!

In an interview with Hollywood Reporter, The Last of Us creator Neil Druckmann said that his friends have been sending him information about mushrooms since the game came out in 2013. Craig Mazin, creator of the recently aired live-action series, has also encountered the same situation and expressed his hope that it will end soon.

“I get messages whenever I see mushrooms,” Mazin said. “People send me pictures of mushrooms when they’re out walking. I respond, ‘I don’t care!’ I get links to all the cordyceps powder products.”

It may be very unfamiliar to foreign audiences, but for us, Cordyceps sinensis has always been a traditional Chinese medicine. This is why Ma Jin has been receiving related products. Cordyceps sinensis can even be made into an environmentally friendly insecticide.

The second season of The Last of Us will go into production this summer. The second season will be based on the plot of the second game. The planned broadcast date has not yet been announced.
