Celebrating the 20th anniversary of the original "Naruto" will broadcast 4 new episodes of animation

The official website of the Naruto anime franchise announced Thursday that the Naruto TV anime will air four "brand new" episodes starting in September to celebrate the series' 20th anniversary.

Selected early episodes of the Naruto anime will also be re-aired in Japan starting in July.

The original Naruto TV anime series aired from 2002 to 2007, and the sequel Naruto Shippuden premiered in 2007 and concluded in 2017.

The official has not revealed the specific content of the new 4 episodes of animation, but it is certain that it will be a new story of the original TV animation series.

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations was first serialized in 2016 after the original manga was completed. The anime premiered in April 2017. It received poor reviews after the broadcast. Currently, the first season of the anime is confirmed to end on March 26, and the second season has been confirmed.
