"The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King" will return to theaters 20 years after its release, but this time in the form of an extended edition. Peter Jackson's fantasy adaptation was nominated for 11 Oscars and won all of them, including Best Picture. "The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King" will be re-released in North America on April 13, and Frodo actor Elijah Wood will also talk about the influence of "The Lord of the Rings" trilogy. The extended cut is 4 hours and 20 minutes long, which is much longer than the theatrical version (3 hours and 20 minutes). |
