Recently, Amazon Prime Video released a new series trailer based on the 1988 classic suspense film "Dead Ringers". The series will be starred by Rachel Weisz, the actress of "The Mummy" and "Black Widow". She will play a pair of twins in the series.

The original 1988 film is one of actor Jeremy Irons' most famous roles, and he also played a pair of twin brothers. The two have very different personalities, but they both become gynecologists and run a clinic together. They both fall in love with Claire, a female star who comes to see them, but Claire always thinks they are the same person. The truth gradually emerges, and the relationship between the brothers breaks down.

The new series will restore the original plot, but this time the protagonist's gender has been changed. The director of the series has also been confirmed: Karyn Kusama, who directed the 2009 film "Jennifer's Body". The series will be broadcast for a total of 6 episodes and will premiere on Amazon Prime on April 21.
