Tokyo International Animation Festival announces annual animation award, One Piece Spy Play wins

The Tokyo International Animation Festival (TAAF) 2023 will be held from March 10th to 13th. Today, on February 9th, the official announced the winners of the annual animation awards. "One Piece: Red-Haired Diva" and "Spy Play" won the film and TV animation awards respectively.

The Tokyo International Animation Festival (TAAF) has been held for the 10th time since its first event in 2002. The purpose of the event is to discover and cultivate outstanding talents who support the animation industry, contribute to the revitalization of animation culture, promote the charm of Tokyo, and lead the construction of Tokyo's tourism culture.

The shortlist for the Tokyo International Animation Festival (TAAF) 2023 Annual Animation Award is a list of all 412 animation works produced between October 1, 2021 and September 30, 2022. The top 100 will be selected based on fan votes, and senior people in the animation industry will be invited to participate in the selection to finally select the annual award.
