The official animation website for the light novel "Working Hard to Touch Furry Animals in Another World," which was written by Japanese novelist Himawari and illustrated by Aoi-ran Sue, was launched on Saturday. The website announced that the TV anime adaptation will be broadcast this year, and will use the manga version by cartoonist Yuriko Takagami as the original work for the anime adaptation, rather than directly adapting the light novel series. The novel illustrator and the comics author both released animated congratulatory images: Yuriko Takagami's manga began serialization on Futabasha's "がうがうモンスター" website and app in 2017. The 10th volume of the manga version was released in October 2022. The light novel written by Himawari was serialized on the website "Let's Become Novelists" in 2012 and has been serialized until recently. Futabasha released a paperback edition with illustrations in July 2016, and the 13th volume was published on July 8, 2022. The total circulation of the novel and manga series is 1.7 million copies. |
