Viking crossover animation "Pirates of the Caribbean" will be linked to the movie "Nordic"

Animation production company Twin Engine announced today (January 6) that the animation "Pirates of the Caribbean", adapted from the manga by Japanese cartoonist Makoto Yukimura, will collaborate with the 2022 American film "The Northman".

The 2022 film "Nordic" is directed by Robert Eggers. Like "Vikings", "Nordic" is a historical epic centered around the Vikings, and both are stories about protagonists motivated by revenge.

The collaboration will include "Pirates of the Caribbean" voice actors Yuto Uemura (who plays the protagonist Thorfinn) and Kensho Ono.

The second season of the anime "Pirates of the Caribbean" will premiere on January 9. The anime will be broadcast on the streaming platform Netflix. The first season of the anime will be broadcast in China by Bilibli.
