The official trailer and poster of the new animated film "I Want to Cry, So I Put on a Cat Mask" by Japanese playwright Mari Okada, who is famous for works such as "Anohana", were released today on March 10. The film is scheduled to be released on June 5, so stay tuned.

·"I Want to Cry, So I Put on a Cat Mask" tells the story of Sasaki Miyo, a sophomore in junior high school, who has a bold and delicate personality. She tried every means to get close to her secret crush, Hinode Kento, but to no avail. By chance, she got a mask that can transform her into a cat as long as she puts it on. Although she deepened her communication with Kento by transforming into a cat, the boundary between herself and cats gradually became blurred.

The animated film "I Want to Cry, I Put on a Cat Mask" is directed by Junichi Sato and Tomotaka Shibayama, and written by Mari Okada. The voice actors who have been confirmed to join include Kumi Shida, Natsuki Hanae, Hiroaki Ogi, Koichi Yamadera, etc. Stay tuned.
