"Dragon Sakura" broadcast in 2005 may be one of the Japanese dramas that many Chinese audiences were introduced to. On March 10, the official announcement was made today that the sequel "Dragon Sakura 2" will be broadcast in the summer of 2020. The legendary lawyer Abe Hiroshi will once again attack the academy!

The story of "Dragon Sakura" tells the story of Kenji Sakuragi, a former lawyer played by Hiroshi Abe, who teaches at Ryusan High School and leads a group of poor students to enter the University of Tokyo. "Dragon Sakura" made a group of young actors famous at the time. Tomohisa Yamashita, Teppei Koike, Masami Nagasawa, Yui Aragaki, etc., all gained popularity through "Dragon Sakura". It is worth mentioning that "Dragon Sakura" is the only time that Masami Nagasawa and Yui Aragaki have worked together.

The official said that the reason for remaking "Dragon Sakura 2" is that after 15 years of changes, the addition of various new media and the transformation of the education system have brought new challenges. The new drama will focus on depicting a sense of the times.
