"Oppenheimer" swept the 96th Academy Awards and won the Best Picture and other awards

At the 96th Academy Awards held at the Dolby Theater in Los Angeles, California, the biographical film "Oppenheimer" directed by director Christopher Nolan swept the Oscars and won multiple awards.

The most important award is the Best Picture Award. In addition, director Christopher Nolan also defeated Martin Scorsese, director of "Killers of the Flower Moon", Justin Tritt, director of "Anatomy of Falling", Yorgos Lanthimoschio, director of "Poor Things", and Nathan Glazer, director of "Zone of Interest", and successfully won the Best Director Award.

This is the first time Nolan has won the award. He was previously nominated for Best Director in 2018 for "Dunkirk" (the film was also nominated for the Best Picture Oscar that year).

Cillian Murphy, the star of "Oppenheimer", also won the Best Actor award. He had previously collaborated with director Nolan many times in "Dunkirk", "Inception" and "The Dark Knight".

In addition, Robert Downey Jr. also won the Best Supporting Actor Award for his outstanding performance in "Oppenheimer". The movie "Oppenheimer" also won the Best Cinematography Award, Best Editing Award and Best Original Score Award.
