Paul W.S. Anderson is best known for his film adaptations of video games, including the Mortal Kombat and Resident Evil series. They may not be of the best quality, but they're still extremely popular. And he has no plans to stop making them. Anderson is currently working on a new movie of "House of the Dead". He told Variety magazine that, unlike the previous version directed by Uwe Boll, "this movie will be immersive and very, very scary. Everything happens in real time, reflecting your experience when playing the game. It will only stop if you beat the level or die, and that will be the only way out. I will push the limit in this movie, and it will be something different for me. This movie will be a journey full of horror." The new movie "House of the Dead" will be based on the third game series, telling the story of the protagonist Lisa Logan's search for and rescue of her father, and she needs to fight mutants and zombies on the way. The script of "House of the Dead" is nearly completed and is expected to start shooting in the fourth quarter of this year. The new House of the Dead film production team includes Anderson partner Jeremy Porter, Sega's Toru Nakahara, and Story Kitchen's Dmitri M. Johnson, Mike Goldberg and Dan Jevons. |
