Bruckheimer: Female version of Pirates of the Caribbean is still in development

In November this year, Margot Robbie told foreign media that Disney would not shoot a female version of "Pirates of the Caribbean". However, the gold medal producer Jerry Bruckheimer recently told "The Hollywood Reporter" that Disney did not cancel the film, but the young actor version of "Pirates of the Caribbean 6" will be shot first.

In 2020, Disney had planned to shoot a "Pirates of the Caribbean" movie starring Margot Robbie, developed by gold medal producer Jerry Bruckheimer. But two years later, there has been no movement on the project. Bruckheimer said: "In my opinion, the project is still alive and Disney has not given up on it."
