The Boys spin-off Gen V gets first trailer

The first trailer for The Boys' college-themed spinoff Gen V has been released. In the same style as The Boys, the first trailer for Gen V looks very violent, but with puppets and some familiar faces from the original series.

The Gen V trailer was released during CCXP, giving fans their first look at the superheroes in training at Godolphin University. The trailer features familiar faces such as the Seven's engine, Vought Vice President Ashley Barrett, and Adam Bourke, the director of Vought's film Dawn of the Seven.

In the setting, Godokin University is the only university in the United States that educates young superheroes and is operated by Vought International. The protagonists of the show are those young and competitive superhero college students. These college students are full of hormones and competition. In order to get a hero contract, they will challenge their physical, sexual and moral bottom line.

Godolkin University is the main venue for 5th Generation students and is named after John Godolkin. In the original comic book by writer Garth Ennis and artist Darick Robertson, Godolkin is the equivalent of Marvel's Professor X, leading the "G-Men" instead of the X-Men. While the G-Men are considered the most profitable asset of the evil superhero company The Boys, Vought, Godolkin, and the G-Men engage in pedophilia and other criminal acts.

Gen V Season 1 will air before The Boys Season 4.
