Tokyo National Museum includes Gundam in "Future National Treasure" exhibition

Bandai Namco Filmworks announced at its autumn event Gundam Conference 2022 that the Tokyo National Museum in Japan will showcase the Gundam series as part of its "National Treasure Exhibition 150 Years Later" exhibition. A range of items from the series will be on display from November 2, 2022 to January 29, 2023.

The "Future National Treasures" exhibition is part of the Tokyo National Museum's 150th anniversary celebrations. There will be at least 150 items from the Gundam series.

The first Mobile Suit Gundam series aired from April 1979 to January 1980. The Gunpla model was first released in July 1980, gaining a large number of fans around the world.

At the same event, it was also announced that Mobile Suit Gundam: Witch of Mercury will air its second season in April 2023.
