Apple buys new series from 'Breaking Bad,' 'Better Call Saul' producers

Apple has bought the next series from Vince Gilligan, the creator of Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. It will be a two-season series for Apple TV Plus, which Apple is currently calling the "Untitled Vince Gilligan Project," and will star Rhea Seehorn, who received an Emmy nomination for her role as attorney Kim Wexler on Better Call Saul.

Apple hasn't revealed much about the series yet, but Gilligan shared some, saying in a statement: "After fifteen years, I think it's time to stop writing anti-heroes... Who better to be heroic than the talented Rhea Seehorn? She got her own series long time ago, and I'm lucky to be working with her." Gilligan will serve as the series creator and executive producer.
